This option is not available in my client.
So my guess is that the server automatically saves a copy of sent emails in the server, no way to change this as far as I know? Or? The other option would be to stop the mail client for saving a copy of outgoing emails, but Sweeten your setup with a few of these third-party programs.

If you open the settings for your Mail app on Mac ( Mail > Preferences from the menu bar) and head to the Viewing tab where the classic layout option once was, you’ll notice it’s no longer there. when sent from either of those the duplicates do show up in the outlook account on a browser as well.
